Condition

This early, ferrotyped contact print is on double-weight paper and is in generally excellent condition. As is typical of the ferrotyping process, there is a slight unevenness and pitting to the overall glossy surface. Upon very close examination in raking light, 2 pen-point-sized impressions that do not appear to break the emulsion are visible in the upper portion of the image. On the reverse of the print, a portion of the photographer's name stamp (Keller stamp B) is visible: 'ER EVANS.'
