Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is deeper and there are more magenta undertones in the original. Condition: This work is in good condition. (i) The sheet is laid down on the backing board. All four edges are slightly deckled. There are handling creases, which are likely to be inherent to the artistÂ’s working process. (ii) The sheet is laid down on the backing board. The horizontal edges are deckled. There are tears to the upper and lower left corner tips, and a further one to the right edge, towards the upper corner tip, all of which are visible in the catalogue illustration.
