Condition

Original canvas. There are handling marks, surface dirt and staining, most prominently to the paler pigments, and around the edges and corners of the canvas. There is a small fleck of possible loss to the top right quadrant, with a further tiny area of loss mid-way down the extreme right edge, only visible upon close inspection, and a further possible area of retouching to the centre of the top edge in the green. There are a few isolated flecks of loss to the thicker dark blue impasto, with some further tiny losses to the tips of the thicker impasto, visible upon close inspection. Ultraviolet light reveals a spot of fluorescence to the aforementioned area of retouching to the centre of the top edge. Housed in a thin wooden slip frame.
