Condition
Original canvas.
There is very minor surface dirt, and a few light traces of studio detritus. There are areas of craquelure apparent, including, but not limited to, a horizontal band running through the lower left hand quadrant, with further traces visible elsewhere to the white and the yellow pigment. This excepting the work appears in good overall condition.
Ultraviolet light reveals areas of fluorescence which appear in keeping with the nature of the materials and do not suggest retouching.
Housed in a thick gilt wooden frame.
