1¾-inch enamel dial, the watch movement mounted within a spherical boiler, a simulated sight glass above inset with a mercury thermometer with Fahrenheit and Reaumur scales, the circular base set with engineers' tools

Condition

Enamel dial with hair cracks at IX. Earlier watch movement has fusee and verge escapement, complete and looks as though it would run needs a clean and service. The case is lacking piston rods either side of the sight tube, alteration to the handle on the base, some marking and rubbing to the gilding, oterwise generally good. No winder.
