- The chair frame made circa 1890 and the embroidery circa 1950.

Condition
This is a very stylish armchair. The woolwork is good although there is some fading to the sides from exposure to sunlight. The silk back (not visible in the catalogue) is stained. The carving is nice quality but does have some minor chips and old marks to detail.
