Condition

Colour match to catalogue is generally good, with tones a litlle bit more subdued and blue more turquoise and less purple. Fringes generally worn and stained with some losses. Some light staining to within central green field, visible in catalogue reproduction. Side cords coming away from carpet in some areas, particularly in one corner and some wear to edges. Pile generally good. A couple of stains to within floral borders to one corner. Stitched with some linen support around the perimeter. A number of splits over the surface. The main split is at the top of the carpet, along approx. 11 cm. Another notable split is at the bottom in the corner, along approx. 9 cm. There are a few other splits over the green field, and several splits in the blue edge field, notably one along 6 cm. Most of the splits are vertical. They are not very visible from the front but more visible from the back and they should be consolidated. Photos available on request. Some stains to both corners on one long side.
