Description

  • Made in London circa 1675.
with a brass plaque engraved WATERPIPE EXCAVATED IN PICCADILLY, IN LONDON IN 1898, AND ORIGINALLY LAID DOWN AS A WATER PIPE IN THE REIGN OF CHARLES II BETWEEN 1665 AND 1680

Condition

An interesting object although the piece shows signs of worm and has worm damage. There is fragmenting to the surface and signs from where it was excavated. The brass plaque is slightly loose.
