Condition

Good condition overall; Wear consistent with age and use within the culture. Superficial hairline cracks throughout. A couple of traditional iron staple repairs/reinforcements; one to the top of the seat, another to one of the legs, and evidence of another to the same leg, staple now missing. One of the legs (back right facing in the catalogue illustration) is replaced, using the same heavy dense wood as the rest of the stool. Minor chips and losses, typical wear through use to the bottom of the legs. Traces of ochre alluvial soil to the legs and underside of the seat.
