painted pine and mahogany, transfer printed with the arms of Cambridge University and Trinity Hall, on a square mahogany plinth base and a further modern mahogany square base together with a wall trophy in the form of a rudder, the iron boarded mahogany form painted in gold Trinity Hall / 5th Lent Boat / 1938 painted above the crew names
Condition
This is great fun. Sotheby's would recommend that this is professionally rewired by a qualified electrician. Wear to black paint. The modern paper shade is slightly misshapen.
The rudder with losses to later varnish surface and gilt decoration.
