  • Made in China for export to England circa 1760.
carved padouk, with an adjustable mirror, the hinged top opening to reveal three apertures, each side with a brass carrying handle

Condition

This is a charming piece in very good condition. The original mirror plate is distressed as to be expected. The attractive finish with minor old marks and scratches. Some of the brass is probably later. Acquired from Sotheby's Olympia: Europen Furniture & Rugs, Lot 282, 15.7.03;
