Description
- Carlo Labruzzi
- Pair of Figure Studies of Travellers Resting
- pen and brown ink and wash on card
- both 12.5 by 21.2cm., 4 15/16 by 8 3/8 in.
- Executed circa 1788.
Condition
Both sheets show some discolouration with evidence of very minor foxing to both.
The first sheet has a crease that runs through the right hand and left arm of the central figure.
The second sheet has what appears to be a light brown stain between the two central figures, although this could quite simply be an extension of the wash used in the figure above.
Both sheets have some wear to the edges and corners. The pen and ink medium is fresh and vibrant throughout both sheets.
