wirework, painted metal and brass, of typical form, with twin feeders and a painted wooden perch together with a smaller wire and wood linnet cage, probably French, 19th century

Condition

Both show much sign of wear. The larger one with losses to paint and ingrained dirt. And with one replaced one plastic bird feeder. The wire is misshapen. Acquired from Christie's South Kensington, as part of lot 54, 3.7.2002.
