Condition

Stable board. There is very minor surface dirt to the crevices, with one or two instances of slight loss to the raised tips of impasto, but this excepting the work appears in excellent overall condition, with strong passages of impasto throughout. Ultraviolet light reveals areas of fluorescence which appear in keeping with the nature of the artist's materials and do not suggest retouchings. Housed behind glass in a thick white wooden frame.
