Condition

Unexamined out of the frame and under glass. The Tsarouchis triptych: The edges of the sheet are uneven (as visible in the catalogue illustration), and a number of creases are visible in the left sheet especially (these are probably by the artist). The works are overall in good condition and are sold as viewed.

Sold together with eleven other works on paper relating to the theatre by various artists, including one depicting Edwige Feuillère in La Parisienne at the Palace Theatre in 1957, three depicting designs for Metamorphoses of a Wandering Minstrel by Peppino de Filippo in the World Theatre Season of 1964, two by Micheál MacLiammóir depicting plays by Sean O'Casey, one by Bernard Daydé of La Sylphide in 1954, and a costume design from Lysistrata, directed by Karolos Koun from the World Theatre Season of 1969.
