Condition
This is a superb example of its type. The leather has been replaced and there are some marks to this new surface. Sections of cockbeading replaced around some drawers.
Generally the piece is in 'ready to place' condition. Some of the locks are a bit sticky.
Excellent quality and in good restored condition with very minor prangs and scratches. Some chips notable to each corner of the plinth base.
Acquired from Sotheby's, New York, English Furniture & Decorations, lot 336, 21.10.03.
