- Made circa 1750.
mahogany and brass, the hinged tray top, with pull out dished brass candlestick supports, on an adjustable ratcheted stem with concealed leather castors
Condition
A really lovely colour. The hinged support behind the lectern appears later, however this is not usually visible. The reading surface has been re-glued. Typical old marks and scratches consistent with age and use. Old ink marks to the surface on the top. Acquired from Christie's, London, lot 18, 24.11.05.
