- Made circa 1890.
oak, with six hinged sheet music supports, painted as follows: COUNTERTENOR: J.A. WATTS - Soloist, TENOR: H. E. BROWNE M.A. - Soloist, TENOR: SIR P. HALL-JONES B.M.A, BARITONE: E. FLETCHER M.A.M.P., BARITONE: PROF. C. P. ROWE M.D - Soloist, BASS: J. A. WHITEHOUSE D.D., above a panelled back with six enamelled badges numbered 153, 151, 149, 147, 145, 443, the central panel painted KINGS COLLEGE below a transfer printed armorial, the box seat with six separate lidded compartments

Condition
This is lovely quality and very unusual. There is wear to some of the painted text. Old marks and scratches from age and use. Some of the hinged brackets to the back are detached (these support the music rests).
