- Made circa 1740.
walnut and featherbanded walnut, the fall concealing ten pigeonholes, two small drawers, a well with sliding cover and an inset baize writing surface
Condition
This is a lovely colour and generally in good order. The surface patination is lovely. There are minor old losses to veneers. The fall with evidence of former escutcheon which has been replaced many years ago. The piece has been restored very well and very sensitively so is generally in good order.
