Condition

The clever mechanism exhibits sighs of wear from use. There are ink stains to the top. The underside supporting timber to the top with old repairs and some cracks. Formerly with a pen or candle slide. Evidence of worm. Timber faded in places. Old chips. An ingenious piece with great charm.
