painted with a narrative scene of military officials within a landscape, label to base: Peking City, Marco A. Daniel, 8, Rue Maghraby, Le Caire.
Condition
The ewer has a 1.5x1cm chip just below the tip of the spout. There are minor enamel loss, surface scratchings and wear. The cover has been broken into two pieces and repaired, with a hairline crack still visible to the painted surface and the underside covered with overpaint. There are minor glaze surface imperfections and surface wear.
