Embroidered motifs are in good condition overall, with range of stitches and balanced compositions and colours. As slip motifs they have been applied to the present linen panel with later complimentary polychrome stitches to the edge which are worked into the motifs, therefore only the outline of these support stitches is visible on the reverse.
