Watch sealed in Patek Philippe plastic bag and box. Movement running at the time of cataloguing however it was not tested for the accuracy of time and may need service at the buyer's expense. Case, dial, and movment in very good condition. The present lot cannot be shipped outside the United States.

Patek Philippe has created only a few models with perpetual calendar, retrograde date and sweep seconds: Refs. 5050, 5059, 5159 and 5160. 

In 2007, Ref. 5159 was released as the replacement for Ref. 5059. It differs most notably in that its predecessor featured a matte dial and the successor features a guilloché center.
