Catalogue Note

With original box.

While known for their leather goods, Hermès has been producing watches since the first half of the 20th century, and manufacturing their own mechanical watch movements since 2003. The Temps Suspendu adds a module to the ébauche to create the illusion of time stopping by suspending the hour and minute hands next to the 12 o'clock index when initiated. Meanwhile, the watch continues to track the time until the wearer disables the suspension via the button on the case band.  The watch was named the Best Man's Watch at the 2011 Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève.
