Catalogue Note

Although the word 'serti' in French means 'setting' and is the official name of any dials set with stones by Rolex, the designation of 'SERTI' by Rolex collectors most commonly refers to the configuration of the dial on the present lot with diamond and sapphire indexes. These dials were featured on solid gold or platinum watches.
