Catalogue Note

With an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak presentation case bearing Arnold Schwarzenegger's signature, screwdriver, 2010 service record and certificte of origin dated December 30, 1999

Designed in collaboration with the actor and former Governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger, the ‘End of Days’ was created to be worn by Arnold in the 1999 movie of the same name. Requesting a military inspired look, this was the first time a Swiss company of Audemars Piguet’s quality had PVD coated a production model. The End of Days was perhaps the first AP limited edition to significantly increase in value after its launch and can be directly attributed to the recent trend for PVD coated watches, as such it is considered by many as the most iconic Royal Oak Offshore created.
