This group of fine watercolours represents over half of Svedman's original drawings that were lithographed by D. Dighton for the Costume of Sweden published by Rodwell and Martin in 1823 (Abbey, Travel 259; Bobins II, 40; Colas 2841; Lipperheide 1046).
