A large paper copy from the library of the artist Sir Lawrence Alma Tadema. This work presents a series of topographical views interspersed with plates illustrating the costume of the local people that Bradford encountered during the British Army's Peninsula War campaign. The supplement consists of 13 plates illustrating Spanish and Portuguese military costume.
