Catalogue Note

A handsome copy of this important series of Thames views. The publication of the present work marked the start of a long series of important  publications by Robert Havell that were to culminate with his work on Audubon's Birds of America. Abbey and Bobins record only this edition, the second (the first was issued in 1812).
