Catalogue Note

The cards are decorated with maps of the various countries and pictorial depiction of the Zodiac and star systems. Nine of the cards have a crown printed on the top right corner indicating a country with a monarchy.

Lacking actual suit signs, the cards are more likely to be “Game Cards” than playing cards. Later editions have suits added.
