Catalogue Note

A good collection of street scenes, topographical views, people, monuments, and ports, mostly in North Africa and the West Indies, together with a number of views in Egypt and Turkey (Istanbul). One of the stereoviews shows a map with routes of Cunard's winter cruises of 1931, which includes a route visiting Morocco and Algeria, the Canary Isles and the West Indies. Many of these stereoviews appear to have been taken on that or a similar cruise, together with stereoviews of Egypt and Istanbul, presumably taken on another voyage or holiday. The slides come with a stereoviewer to view the images in 3D.
