Oblong folio (265 x 350mm.), 67 photographs, comprising: 57 albumen prints (from 220 x 265mm. to 140 x 100mm., or the reverse), and 10 platinum prints of Japan (150 x 197mm., or the reverse), black half morocco, light spotting and browning to mounts, covers and endpapers dampstained 

Provenance

Augustus Burnett-Stuart (1850-1898), a British artist, who acquired these during his travels in Asia; thence by descent to the present owner (see also lot 193).
