Catalogue Note
A fine copy of a rare work. Although Atabey states that the author, who was a minister of the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies at Constantinople, was best known for this work, his collection did not include a copy of it. The only copy recorded at auction on ABPC is the Blackmer copy (sale in these rooms, 11-13 October 1989, lot 501).
