Provenance

Condition
This warm-toned print is on lightly-textured paper with a surface sheen. In raking light, silvering is visible in the dark areas of the image. There is a small rust-colored deposit of indeterminate nature in the upper right quadrant, and there is a concentrated scattering of tiny black deposits in the lower portion of the image. The print is trimmed to the image, and the edges are lightly worn. The corners are bumped, and the upper paper-ply is lifting at the tip of the lower left corner.
The reverse of the print is soiled. On the reverse of the print, the photographer's credit and the numbers 'R1829' and 'XVIII' are in pencil.
When examined under ultraviolet light, this print does not appear to fluoresce.
