Condition

This early print is in generally excellent condition. In raking light, a few tiny deposits of original retouching and small hairline scratches are visible overall. The print is mounted to slick white board, and it is slightly unevenly trimmed along the right edge. There are a few small rust-colored spots on the mount. The periphery of the mount is insignificantly age-darkened, and the corners are bumped. On the reverse of the mount, there is a gray 'M M O F A' printed label. The reverse of the mount is lightly soiled. The number '57' is written in an unidentified hand in pencil. Also on the reverse are 8 thin 1½-inch abrasions to the upper paper-ply and a remnant of yellowed cellulose tape.
