Catalogue Note
One of only two copies recorded by ISTC; the other is located in Munich. Usually copies of these two texts were issued with Historia et descriptio urbis Romae which gave a historical introduction; however, it is likely that this copy was once bound with lot 99, "Murus civitas habet..." [Silber, c. 1485], also a description of the city of Rome. Both of these works are untrimmed with extensive contemporary annotations and in an identical later binding.
