Chancery folio (270 x 187mm.), 252 leaves (of 254, without two blank leaves), A10 B-K8 L-M6 a-k8 l-ll6 m-s8 t-v6, double column, 45 lines plus headline, gothic letter, 2- to 8-line initials in blue or red (some with traces of silver), nineteenth-century chocolate brown calf by C. Stafford of Shefford (in Bedfordshire, with ticket), spine tooled in gilt and blind with red morocco lettering-piece, red edges, a few early annotations, headlines cut close at beginning (a couple cropped), occasional light damp-staining at foot, last leaf laid down, extremities slightly rubbed
