Chancery 4to (200 x 130mm.), 140 leaves (of 144), a-r8 s [t]4, 37 lines, gothic type, 5- and 6-line initial spaces with printed guides, modern red morocco by the Cockerell Bindery, with a note pasted to the lower inside cover dated 1986 with details of the previous binding and a sample of it, modern buckram folding box, early annotations in several hands (some cropped at foredge), pencil note by Mendham on old front endpaper regarding the imprint, lacking 4 final leaves found in some copies (containing colophon), small paper flaw in g1 just touching a letter, occasional light foxing
