Description

  • Stamps
comprising 2s6d brown block of 16; 2s6d green block of 24; 5s red block of 24; 10s dark blue block of 24; 10s ultramarine block of 16 and £1 block of 24. Stanley Gibbons Catalogue £1,152,000+ – see comment below

Catalogue Note

Of this series, the same number of Imprimaturs for each value have been previously released. In the Stanley Gibbons catalogue the 2s6d brown has a catalogue value of £9,000 and the 10s ultramarine £12,000. There seems to be no logical reason why the other values, though listed, do not have a catalogue price, nor the variation between the 2s6d brown and 10s ultramarine. Taking the lower catalogue figure of £9,000 (for the 2s6d brown) these multiples would have a total catalogue value of £1,152,000
