IN CONTEXT:
The Object D’Art Stand is a tall four-legged structure whose textural imprints register its evolution—hammering, twisting, torch cutting, grinding, forged tapering, forming, and wrapping. It is an elevated stone platform where something, an activity, is to take place. A stage thus addressing anticipation to which the viewer is a participant—the placement of flowers, a sculpture or a message, there suspended in space.
