Condition
Overall very good condition. The chair has likely been reupholstered at some point in its history and has been executed in a manner and material consistent with the original design. The upholstery shows evidence of gentle use with minor surface dirt, and a few areas of fraying and minute losses to the piping at the front edge of the seat cushion and top corners of the backrest. The wooden arm panels with some light rubbing to the finish and surface scratches consistent with gentle use. The legs with minor losses to the finish and some minor surface scratches consistent with gentle use. This chair design demonstrates WegnerÂ’s sculptural sensibility while maintaining attention to comfort and function.
