  • Height: 12 3/4 in (32.6 cm)
with attachments of Dik Dik (Madoqua sp.) skulls, Domestic Goat (Capra hircus) skull and horns, Mona Monkey (Cercopithecus mona) skulls, and Potto Monkey (Perodicticus potto) skull.

Condition

Good condition for an object of this type, age, and materials. Wood element with age cracks. Skull elements are attached to wood structure with metal nails. Metal nails in wood element and some remnants of red fabric. Empty area at back left below wood horn where an additional skull was probably positioned. Marks, nicks, scratches, abrasions, and chipping from age and use. Skulls with cracks, chips, losses, holes, and breaks. Wood with a fine aged smoke-blackened patina and residue. Covered with blackened remains of ritually applied materials, crumbling and flaking in some places.
