Condition

Stable, fragmentary condition as seen in catalogue illustration. Lower right portion of the mask eroded away. Loss to proper right arm of figure. Open horizontal crack beside proper right eye of the mask under brow. Age cracks throughout. Varied, weathered surface with remains of ritually applied materials. Marks, nicks, scratches, abrasions, and surface losses throughout. Underside fitted with square metal sleeve for attachment to base. Small drill hole behind from a previous mounting.
