Condition

Good condition overall. Some crumbling and small losses to built-up white ridged chalk decoration in coiffure on one side. Small tears, fraying, and holes to textile elements. Minor worm holes to wood. Flaking and wear to polychrome. Openwork "earlobe" element on proper left side broken and glued. Some small breaks and separation in fiber framework. Barkcloth frayed around back edge. Wood element slightly separated from coiffure on proper left side. Fine aged surface with black, red, and white pigment.
