Condition

Pile generally low to knotheads and foundation. A 5in. by 3in. reweave in field. Smaller scattered reweaves. Scattered stains. Some water stains on reverse. Sides with remnants of original selvages with generations of later silk overcasting. Lower end with some losses to outer guard stripes and with original twisted warp fringes. Upper end with trimmed warp fringes; uneven and fraying. Good color retention in areas of pile.
