Condition

Pile ranges from near original 1/6th of an inch to low to knotheads in areas of some minor scattered foldwear and moth damage. Slightly dry foundation. Most in upper left quadrant of carpet. Lower end with fraying and losses into outer guardborder in an approximately 7" area. Further smaller losses and fraying. Upper end secured with cloth band sewn on reverse. Sides with losses to selvages. Flexible handle, lustrous wool, good condition. Please note that a license may be required to export textiles, rugs and carpets of Iranian origin from the United States. Clients should enquire with the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) regarding export requirements.
