the salmon and midnight blue medallion anchored on a brick red field with ivory spandrels, all within a deep blue palmette and rosette border.

Condition

Pile generally good, near original, 1/4 of an inch throughout. Sides wtih original selvages. Upper end with original flatwoven finish, lower end with some losses to dark brown chain stitch. Some minor scattered spot stains. Robust weave, sound fabric, will enhance with cleaning. Good overall condition. Please note that a license may be required to export textiles, rugs and carpets of Iranian origin from the United States. Clients should enquire with the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) regarding export requirements. Please check with the Carpet department if you are uncertain as to whether a lot is subject to this restriction or if you need assistance with such enquiries.
