The serpentine-fronted top with canted corners and molded edge above a conforming case, the top drawer fitted with a sliding leather-lined panel sliding to reveal a compartmentilized interior centered by a dressing mirror, the case fitted with three further long graduated drawers flanked by blind-fret-carved canted corners and raised on ogee-form bracket feet.

Good condition; the top with a very minor hairline age crack to the back; each side panel with a very minor hairline age crack; the drawer divider above the bottom drawer with a small triangular loss to the veneer approximately 1/2 x 1/2 inch.; the bottom drawer with loss to the cockbeaded bottom edge at center approximately 3 inches in length; overall with beautiful color and surface; great figuring to the mahogany of the drawer fronts; of excellent quality, the drawer fronts being made of mahogany then veneered with mahogany; the fittings to the top drawer are also very well executed; overall with some old marks, scratches, stains and bruises consistent with age and use; backboard replaced.
