The serpentine-form cresting rail with caned backrest above a caned seat raised on square tapering legs, the whole cream painted with polychrome floral motifs.

Condition

Very good condition; maintains the majority of original decoration with some minor areas of inpainting and appears to have a protective gloss surface; appears to be re-caned; caning strong; the curved seat rails to the back corners each with a later supporting piece to the inside edge; some scratches and chips and losses to paint in places.
