Provenance
Mallett, London, 2004
Condition
Good condition; in two sections - it appears that the cabinet was cut in half horizontally - it does not appear that the piece was reduced in height as the same piece of wood is on both sides of the cut; this may have occurred to fit the piece into a space.
The top with old stains, scratches, scuffs and bruises; slight bowing toe drawer fronts; minor nicks, chips and wear to the edges of the drawers; the whole with old bruises, scuffs and scratches which are now polished and part of the overall patina; nice color to walnut and nice waxy surface; feet appear to be original and with some nicks and wear to edges; veneers solid and good condition.
